I don’t like gyms or to “work out,” but I do like gardening. In addition to walking Barney, my adorable Golden Retriever, and dancing, I consider gardening to be a vital part of my fitness, health and well-being program. I used to be able to work in the garden for hours and hours, now a four to six hour stint is about all I can muster. What I don’t do—but should—is prepare for working in the garden by stretching.
